Meet the Master behind Golden Grill’s celebrated dishes. A graduate of Clairmont Hotel School, Roshan Fernando has more than three decades of experience in tourism and hospitality industry in Sri Lanka and abroad.

Having joined Golden Grill in early 1980’s as a budding chef, Roshan left and re-joined Golden Grill several times prior to making golden grill his permanent abode. In the meantime he served as an Executive Chef at many leading hotels and resorts in the Southern Coast of Sri Lanka, Dubai, Japan and the USA.

Roshan has returned to Golden Grill to take over the mantle of Master Chef and General Manger.

After travelling the world in pursuit of new tastes and dishes, Roshan has returned to Golden Grill to take over the mantle of Master Chef and General Manger.

He has been instrumental in introducing some of the innovative dishes including the celebrated rotti platter at Golden grill which includes many of the Sri Lankan rotti varieties; ambula, an authentic Sri Lankan rice and curry experience and the Pineapple surprise, a surprisingly exotic dessert that is sure to set your senses on flame.
