Certificates of Golden Grill Restaurant Bentota

Creating a fusion dining experience with an oriental essence.

Having opened doors to our first guests in December, 1980, Golden Grill has come a long way and has faced many changes and challenges during its more than three decades’ long journey.

Golden Grill serves a largely Asian and European clientele, who are hooked to our scrumptious dishes made with the best of local ingredients.

A rich vegetation, centuries' long history of spice cultivation and an ocean filled with the best of sea food has added to the Sri Lankan cuisine through the years making it one of the richest in the region. Sri Lanka’s position as a trading port and its rich colonial history has enriched our culinary heritage, giving us dishes filled with exotic tastes and aroma.

Being in close proximity to Beruwala fishing harbour and fish market allows our chefs to choose the best out of the daily catches of tuna, mullet, prawns and lobsters while we enjoy an unlimited supply of the best spices and the freshest of seasonal fruits and vegetables.

Created through the fusion of Sri Lankan and continental culinary traditions, Golden Grill’s Sri Lankan and Indian dishes are celebrated across the world for their variety and taste and are complimented by our great customer service and a scenic environment.
